Cooking has been a deep passion for me, developing over the past 42 years. Starting from a young boy watching the chefs and stirring sauces on the line in my father’s restaurants to culinary school and eventually running my own kitchens. I truly love what I do – creating unique and memorable dining experiences. It is always an honor to be allowed to cook for others – whether it’s a wedding, anniversary, birthday or a group of friends just hanging out around a BBQ. Food is love, friendship, nourishment, culture and most of all appreciation for all that makes us human.
This passion took me to the Culinary Institute of America where I learned the foundations of fine dining, service and the importance of detail. These skills have been refined over many years. I have worked for some of the best restaurants and caterers in Houston, Seattle and Key West.
I created and produced a dinner series (Culinary Zymurgy) that consisted of a five course themed dinner. The event was presented at Middleton Brewing (San Marcos, TX) in an open setting, allowing me to interact with the guests explaining each dish, giving some historical facts about its development. Each course was paired with one of their craft beers. (Spirits and food transform each other, harmonizing into a dynamic singular sublime experience.) The dinner ran for three years in which I produced about 25 unique menus. I was featured in an article in the San Marcos Daily Record (Friday 12th, 2019).
If you really want to make a friend, go to someone’s house and eat with him – the people who give you their food give you their heart.

Food brings people together on many different levels. It’s nourishment of the soul and body; it’s truly love.
